Which constructor do you guys think will win? My money is on McLaren but I'm a McLaren fan so I'm just a bit biased. It just doesn't look like Renault is fast enough.

I want McLaren but I want it to be Montoya who takes the checker. It comes down to how much luck is with McLaren.

I'd be happy either way really. I like Fernanado, but I'd love to see McLaren win too. I'm so torn |

I want Renault to win it, just because we need someone different than Ferrari and Mclaren dominating everything. I don't think they will pull it off though, unless Kimi has some of his earlier season luck with his engine, and Montoya does something stupid like last week, which is unlikely.

I'm looking for McLaren to win too, but secretly I'm hoping BAR has a 1500hp engine that they pull out and trounce the field...it could happen _________________

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I don't like the French, but it was good to see a different team take home all the marbles. Whats your guys' early prediction for next years constructors champ? My bet goes to Ferrari, they are probably beating themselves right now for getting third, I doubt they will let it happen again, unless Felipe comes out wrecking every week, he seems to be doing better.

I would put my money on one of the guys who has V8 experience to do well during at least the first half of the season. So, I look for Honda or Toyota or even a Cosworth powered team to do well starting out. I still think Ferrari has a lot of work to do and it would be miraculous for them to make up all that time during the off-season. It's hard to say until we get a little closer. _________________

I wouldn't be totally suprised if Toyota started out the season well, but I don't think the big teams, Ferrari, Mclaren, Renault, are going to sit back and let Toyota make a better engine. I think enough knowledge is known throughout and the money will no doubt be thrown in to those top teams, so I don't see the engine playing that big of a role in performance, not as much as driver anyway. But, who knows, I could be totally wrong, and I wouldn't mind seeing one of the Jap teams do well.

The only reason I say that is because BMW has already come out saying that they'll be surprised if they can get their engines competitive by the start of the season. Apparently there's a big problem with harmonics and the engines shaking themselves apart around 18,000 rpm. I don't pretend to understand the dynamics of it, that's just what I've read. _________________

Yeah, me either, those things are beyond any technology that I've ever seen with an engine. Im sure getting 20,000rpm out of a V8, all be it only 2.4 liters, is a chore. If BMW is saying they are worried than it may very well play a bigger role than I thought. I guess we'll wait and see.

Yeah, that combined with the fact that I've seen a video that's floating around the net of a Cosworth V8 doing 20,000rpm on a dyno. Pretty cool vid. _________________
