Don't know. My guess is they haven't heard "Formula Pod" yet. I've listened to half a dozen episodes and I can't listen any more.
If I want to hear a couple of SCHOOLGIRLS giggle and call it a show I'll start listening to diggnation again.
Good Idea,,, Poor Execution!!! If you are having a hard time filling an hour in the off season maybe you should cut back the show.
Maybe I'll be back next season. |

Your opinion is seriously valued and I'm sorry you don't like the show. We have a good time doing the show and that's why we do it. We obviously don't make any money from what we're doing here and it's certainly not our full time jobs. I too have listened to Formula Pod and it's not my cup of tea. If you prefer it, then you should listen to it! We are not an up-tight, scripted show (and neither are they). But my point is that we aren't trying to cater to everyone; we are trying to cater to those that share the same wit (or lack thereof) and passion for Formula One as we do. What we do is live and it's done that way for two reasons:
1. We prefer it that way (non-scripted, on the fly) because it doesn't sound flat like some other podcasts (and TV broadcasts I might add), and it's just funner for us (and hopefully our listeners) to do this way.
2. This way takes far less time than writing a script, and since both of us have full time jobs and I'm finishing off my degree - time is very hard to come by.
So I'm sorry to hear you go and all of this isn't directed at you, it's directed at our audience in general as we've received a couple emails to this effect. If you (or ANYONE) have any constructive criticism or comments, then SHARE THEM. We would certainly like to incorporate our listeners ideas into the show, and we've asked for them since the very start. But so far, all we have received are a couple emails and posts praising our show and a couple that don't like the show. We have received zero feedback in regards to how to improve the quality of the show. So until then, Brian and I will continue having fun doing the best (free) podcast we can and we hope our listeners do too.

| The show is good and I think most of us realise that this is the off-season. To say Formula Pod is superior is a joke. Doing your show from a telephone is hardly impressive to me. Are you some kind of spokesperson for Formula Pod? |

I'm still looking forward to the next podcast. I take my F1 seriously but I can get all the professional analysis I want from ITV F1 and Autosport and F1 racing Magazines etc. What the FollowF1 podcast brings to me is the kind of lighthearted banter I used to enjoy with a bunch of likeminded F1 fans down the pub in the early hours of the morning (3am) when we used to gather for the Japanese and Australian GP's.
For me, Stay on topic, give us your views on the latest happenings, but keep it lighthearted.....and hurry up with another podcast!!! cheers |

| This show is cool in "Top Gear" kind of way. It never takes itself to seriously and looks at things from an enthusiasts angle. |

I enjoy the show FollowF1 does. In January 06 I started listening to all the F1 podcasts to see which one I was going to stick with and I actually listen to three (I can listen while I work) but FollowF1 is at the top of my F1 playlist! Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to you guys putting out podcasts consistantly again. _________________ Jim - 93 Cobra - #2303

Thanks for your kind words everyone - they are appreciated. We have been working on some new features on the website lately which partially explains the lack of podcasts throughout the off season. Now that the season is back in full swing, you can expect at least a podcast a week and usually 2 on GP weekends (although one may be done through IP phone as you heard on the 3/13/06 podcast). I hope you guys continue to enjoy the podcast and the website.
I would also like to invite you to continue to send us your ideas and suggestions for the website. Just post away on the forum or email us. See ya next podcast _________________

| I listen to it and other F1 podcasts and I have to say that I enjoy the relaxed and fun improvisation of the show I wouldn't change a thing you guys are doing great, if every podcast where the same it would get boring. So cheers and keep up the great work you do. |
